It's what you've been waiting for! The SPRIG Annual Event is happening on 19th June at Westminster Kingsway College's Victoria Campus, London.
The topic this year is eTourism and we have some superb speakers: the eTourism 'guru' Professor Dimitrios Buhalis (Bournemouth University) will be giving us an update on all things 'e' and 'tourism'! And we can't visit London without hearing more about London 2012 from Gareth Smith of Podium: The Further and Higher Education Unit for the 2012 Games! A roundtable discussion will be initiated by Fiona Murray, University College Birmingham, and focus on the uptake and use by students of new technologies - we want your opinions! Following lunch, private tours will be conducted of the fantastic Gastronomy Collection at Westminster Kingsway.
The event promises to be fun and informative. Network with your peers, get in a day of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and enjoy!
SPRIG members attend for FREE (non-members pay £15 at the door or free if you join SPRIG on the day). Places are limited! To RSVP or to learn more, see the SPRIG website or email: chair@sprig.org.uk or janine.mills@instituteofhospitality.org or telephone Janine at 020 8661 4930. See you there!
