RSS Feeds are an effective way to keep up to date with news in your subject area. Some RSS options for sport include;

The BBC site, The Feed Factory gives an introduction to the RSS feeds that are available from bbc.co.uk. You can use the Feed Finder to find some of the BBC recommended feeds from across the bbc.co.uk site, and it gives some background information to using RSS.
