In September the www.sportdevelopment.org.uk website is being re-launched to www.sportdevelopment.info.
The updated site has a number of new sections, there is a section for jobs that is updated daily, a “what’s new” page so that you can see what has been added recently, and probably the most important new feature; a dynamic list of “related content” for each document that you view.
The site still has the "Ruff guides”, which give the students a broad overview of a topic and these have been extended, to include; a Ruff Guide to Football Research, Ruff guide to Olympic legacy, Ruff Guide to Playing to Win (2008) and a Ruff Guide to Talent Development .
SPRIG represents all those who have an interest in information relating to leisure, tourism, sport, recreation and hospitality management and is relevant to those who work in libraries and information services, publishers, academics, and research students. This blog will be updated regularly with information on new resources, in the Tourism, Sport, Leisure and Hospitality areas.

NING technology
'Ning is the social platform for interests and passions online
It offers an easy-to-use technology platform enabling you to create and join Ning Networks for your interests and passions'. Having had a look at this technology it seems to be a combination of facebook, blogs and jisc lists all in one!!! There are a number of library based networks, often with an international flavour. You can find more out about Ning, from their website.
